Frequently Asked Questions
Are there times where GAP insurance doesn't pay out?
Click4GAP will always pay out for any valid claim. So if your motor insurance pays out, then so will we.
As with your motor insurance, there are a few circumstances when your claim may be invalid. For example, if you allowed an uninsured person to drive the car, you caused the vehicle to be written off under the influence of drugs or alcohol or you have been given the option to replace the vehicle under your comprehensive motor insurance policy.
At Click4GAP, we write the policy terms, which we have chosen to keep as simple and clear to understand as possible.
Therefore, our policy terms state that if the total loss was covered, and a full and final settlement was paid out under a comprehensive motor insurance policy then we will also pay out.
All Click4GAP policies are an insurance contact and we are authorised and regulated by the FCA. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is the independent regulator set up by Government to look after the financial services industry and protect consumers. The FCA regulates firms providing financial and insurance services to consumers and maintains the integrity of the UK’s financial markets focusing on the regulation of conduct by financial services firms.
You have the protection of the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) if anything does go wrong. Our policy terms must be fair and delivered in a way that is clear and truthful.
You can be assured we are who we say we are and Click4GAP policies provide the genuine protection described on our web site. You have total peace of mind that Click4GAP will always pay out for a genuine and valid claim.
