How do I make a claim?

At Click4GAP we try to keep our claim processes as straightforward as possible. All our claims are handled over the phone, so if you’re unlucky enough for your car to be declared a total loss, then simply contact the claims team within 30 days of the date of loss. The telephone number is 0844 412 4272 (all calls are recorded for training, compliance and claims purposes).

Our claims department will discuss your claim with you and walk you through the process. They will also help you with your comprehensive claim where possible. It’s important that you don’t accept any settlement from your motor insurance company at this time.

You will be asked to supply copies of the V5, UK Motor dealer invoice where applicable, copies of lease agreement details (if applicable), your driving licence, details of your comprehensive motor insurance policy, a valid crime reference number, facts on which the claim is based together with any information and assistance which we may require to confirm the amount of the claim.

The settlement will be made directly to you, not the dealer. Having this to hand when the claims department asks for it means your claim can be settled as quickly as possible.
