Jaguar X-Type Sportwagon 2008
The 2008 Jaguar X-type Sportwagon (estate car) is among the the least expensive cars in the Jaguar line-up and offers buyers a chance to drive one of the most famous names in sports cars at a bargain price.
Click4Gap customers may be pleased to discover that it is still possible to have the luxury and prestige of a new-ish Jaguar for well under 20K! As bigger cars such as this tend to be hit hardest by depreciation, it is definately worth looking at gap insurance before you get it on the road.
This chunky estate version of Jaguar's famous X-Type handles well and has an improved - some even say more stylish - appearance than the sedan version!
The interior of this car has the distinctive Jaguar touch and seating for five people. The controls and gauges are easy to use and read. The standard interior includes Bronze Sapele wood veneer trim on the console and doors. It has automatic climate control, and one-touch power 'moonroof'.
The seats are made of rich leather and the driver has an 8-way adjustable power seat. The Jaguar X-Type Sportwagon also has split folding rear seats that fold down to give you a spacious cargo area.
This vehicle has high standard safety equipment which includes emergency braking assistance, stability control and traction control. The Jaguar Sportwagon comes with front and rear head bags, a passenger air bag which has an occupant sensing deactivation system. Other safety features include dual front side-mounted air bags, child seat 'iso-fix', and rear door child safety locks.
The roofline slopes gracefully downward toward the rear of the car. There is a split opening lift gate with smoked glass that can be raised and lowered by key or a switch near the driver. There is a unique storage area designed into the Jaguar X-Type Sportwagon which is located below the rear load floor. This is a Styrofoam hollow that could easily accommodate a laptop and accessories.
The interior is packed with little extras including steering wheel mounted controls for cruise control, audio and phone. There is a tyre pressure monitor, a trip computer and exterior temperature gauge. There are also two memory adjustments for the driver side which includes seat and exterior mirrors.
Jaguar designed the Sportwagon to avoid the look of a box and yet meet the company's eternal pledge of making cars that are "beautiful, powerful and glamorous". This is a vehicle that is stylish and has lots of innovative features to let you drive in comfort and style.
