The Ford Focus
The Ford Focus is an affordable and well designed family car. The Focus was first built in 1998. Since 1998 it's been the biggest selling car in Britain year on year. Today there is a huge range of models and trims to choose from.
The 2008 Ford Focus sports a sharper design similar to the new Mondeo and Galaxy but still maintains a similar shape and nature to the current Focus. It also features "FordEasyFuel" which stops you from putting in the wrong fuel type and a dual clutch system for faster gear ranges.
The Ford Focus is comfortable and the gear lever now sits slightly higher for comfort. Rear seat space can hold two adults and the boot space on the Focus is ample. It comes with standard electric front windows and air conditioning. There are plenty of options to choose from including cooled glove boxes, cruise control, swiveling head lamps and power-adjustable seats.
The Focus has achieved the full five stars for occupant protection in the Euro NCAP crash tests. It comes with standard twin front and side airbags. ABS is fitted to the brakes, which allows electronic brake force distribution to get maximum stopping power from each wheel. All models of the Ford Focus come with remote central locking, deadlocks and an alarm system.
The Focus is an excellent and fun car to drive. Its steering is exceptional and very responsive. This vehicle is extremely agile but stable. Overall it has excellent dynamics, comfortable, well equipped and reasonably priced.
